Before I start, just wanna wish a Happy New year to everyone! London was brilliant and I had a great time with my friends getting drunk in a bar in Camden :)

Anyway, this is just a random post before the week of hell starts for me. I'm currently revising like mad a whole semester of lectures for next week's exams. I have 3 exams in all, but the first one (Monday) counts three times as much as the others and therefore I am in a complete panic cause not only will it determine whether or not I pass this semester, but it is also my first written exam in french since high school... and that was 4 years ago now...

So sorry to everyone (especially the Spellcasters) if I've been pretty much absent from Skype and LJ since the New Year.

Apart from that, there's something I wanted to post about for a while: what on earth (literally) is wrong with the weather? Since I came back from London, the weather in Paris has been pretty warm and its January! It should be windy and snowing and plants should have frozen over, but everything instead is still in bloom and the temperature is around 13°C (55F). We're in the middle of winter and I can go outside without gloves or a jacket! Is it the same over in America? Global warming is being more and more featured on the news and it's starting to scare our government which is a good thing after all.

About fanfiction, it's definitely all on hold till exams are over. Oh and did anyone else sign up for wizard_love's valentine's day smut exchange? Yeah... that's gonna be interesting...
