Job hunting: I've been lazy on my job applications, but I've just sent off my CV for a 3-month contract job on a Roman sanctuary site. The lady I talked to on the phone was really nice and very helpful so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

In the meantime, I have been reading like mad any sort of fantasy book I can get my hands on and decided to open a blog!!

It's basically a bookclub of sorts where any fantasy fan can read books along with me and comment about the story, characters, writing style, etc. I quite interested in deciphering what makes a good story/book and what ruins them. I'm currently reading George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones. Ooooh and if anyone is considering buying books using Amazon, I would love you forever if you used the widget link on my blog page! :D

In other news: Guillermo Del Toro talks dwarves and dragons on making The Hobbit. I'm really excited about this movie and hope it won't stray too far from the LotR movies.
